Then and now...
We came to be in June of 2000 as Perennial Pleasures, a shop in Exton, Pennsylvania. Founded by co-owners Hope Hoffman and Martha Naylor, we became known for our selection of beautiful and unusual merchandise for the home and garden. Pretty quickly customers liked what they saw and sought out Hope's help to bring the style of the shop into their homes. Soon Hope found herself designing rooms in area show houses as well as for private clients. These clients not only entrusted her to create space plans for additions and renovations, but also to manage the process with her chosen team of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, flooring installers, tile setters and painters. Custom kitchens and bathrooms have become a specialty, but she still loves furnishing and accessorizing the rooms she has helped clients reimagine. The shop sadly has gone the way of so many privately owned retail establishments, but the heart of Perennial Pleasures lives on in Perennial Interiors.
