Game table was made for us by a boutique furniture makers in Philadelphia. The upholstered chairs are quite comfortable for long game nights. We deepened the paint color in the area where the client's collection of Memory Blocks was to hang and had a frame built to surround the collection. Games images, the first initial of their last name as well as the family's zodiac signs complete the story.

The homeowners wanted to create the feeling of a warm, old world farmhouse in this dining room. We worked with a talented artist to create the feeling of a whitewashed stone wall one might find in such a setting.

All ready for the holidays! The table is a combination of wood and marble and was the perfect scale for the space. Relaxed and casual leather chairs for the immediate and extended family to enjoy.

The lighting requests: No bare light bulbs nor shades on them. A challenge to be sure, but we were able to find this iron chandelier with resin shades replicating pillar candles. It also speaks to the more casual farmhouse vibe requested.

The round table required the corners of the room to take on serious storage responsibility. These domestically created pieces feature glass made to look centuries old. We love how the interior glows showcasing the homeowner's collection of hand-thrown Bulgarian pottery.

This two story foyer should have been grand, but sadly it was pretty ordinary. The only "keeper" is the family's grandfather clock.

The large, but undeniably builder's grade, chandelier is not helping matters.

Rich warm color on the walls makes a huge difference. The beautifully designed plant stands flank the door and hold botanically-correct Boston ferns a house sitter would be tempted to water.

This Tiffany reproduction pendant is large enough to make the necessary statement in this foyer. My electricians said some bad words while installing this beast... but then admired its beauty immediately upon finishing.

Scale was so important here. The console, lighting and mirror had to be just right.

We designed this inlay detail for the floor. This floor replaced the original oak in the foyer and the wall-to-wall carpet in the adjoining game and dining rooms. So pretty!

The grandfather clock is much happier in his new and improved setting. We removed the carpeting from the stair treads and refinished them. The old balusters were replaced by iron in a pleasing pattern, and the rail was stained darker to complement the new flooring below.

The details successfully complete this renovation.
